| The
process
From basic inception we have the ability to design
and develop engineering solutions utilising almost every conceivable
type of thermoplastic or elastomer. Processes such as advanced quality
planning are used to review every facet of a brief, ensuring a systematic
and structured approach.
Having satisfied the basic design and performance
parameters, the project team will break the project down into areas
of specialisation such as tooling, automation, painting and assembly.
Each area of specialisation has it's own "champion", who
under the overall control of the project manager will ensure that
the project is correctly interfaced within the wider brief and ultimately
meets and surpasses the design and engineering parameters laid down.
Controlling all elements of a project in this way,
using in-house expertise gives McKechnie a unique advantage over
many competitors who have neither the scale nor breadth of resources
to offer "the one stop shop" approach. Further, it is
a proven process for underpinning successful and "on time"
project delivery.
